The US authorities are not in the way of the Bayer-Monsanto merger

The US authorities have authorized the 66 billion USD Bayer-Monsanto merger – agrarszektor.hu wrote.

The US Department of Justice allowed the merger of the chemical giants with the condition that Bayer has to sell some of its agricultural businesses to BASF for 9 billion USD. After the merger is closed, Bayer will terminate the Monsanto brand name. (agrarszektor.hu)
