The AMC welcomes the Hungarian initiative on GMOs
The Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC) General Directorate of the Hungarian National Tourist Office welcomes Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture's announcement that Hungary initiated a cooperation for countries that are against the agricultural use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
The aim of the initiative is to make the whole of the European Union to be GMO-free zone.
Lipcsey György Deputy Agricultural Marketing CEO believes that the decision serves both the interests of the domestic food businesses and the interests of the consumers. It is everobody’s interest to provide safe, reliable, and tested food products for consumption.
