Amazon internet trading company made an unprecedented profit in the second quarter of the year, during the coronavirus pandemic – Jeff Bezos, the company’s founder and CEO announced.
Analysts say Amazon is one of the big winners of the pandemic: in the second quarter, its revenue increased by about 40 percent to 89 billion USD from the second quarter of last year, and its profits doubled. According to the announcement, its net profit gained 5.2 billion USD from April to June. (MTI, Járai Judit)
