Amazon might be interested in Metro Real
Metro AG plans to sell its struggling hypermarket chain, Real, which consists of 282 stores and employs 34,000 people. Analysts say Metro can get EUR 1 billion if the deal goes through. Potential buyers include the online retail giant Amazon.
