Groupon compares itself to Amazon.com
Groupon offering community shopping services compares itself to Amazon.com during its investor roadshows, but analysts and potential investors are quite skeptical about this type of analogy.
The Amazon was in a better position in 1997, at the time of the primary issue of shares, than the Groupon. At Groupon, the revenue per employee is currently standing lower than at Amazon, and the company spends more on marketing than Amazon at the time – reports portfolio.hu, after Bloomberg.
