HELL became ALDI’s international supplier
Supporting the Hungarian agriculture and food industry is extremely important to ALDI Hungary. In 2022, the company organized an international supplier tender for several domestic companies, which were able to present their products to ALDI Süd and ALDI Nord representatives. The first success has already been achieved, the energy drink producer HELL ENERGY Magyarország Kft. received orders for four countries from both ALDI corporate groups.
When developing the product range of ALDI Hungary, it pays special attention to ensure that as many Hungarian companies as possible become its suppliers, so it serves customers with high-quality Hungarian food products. About 60% of the entire range of the supermarket chain comes from Hungarian companies, and in some product categories – for example, fresh meat and 65 basic dairy products – the proportion of Hungarian products is 100%. The company supports the export opportunities of Hungarian companies, so in the spring of 2022 it organized an international presentation opportunity for Hungarian food industry companies. The invited companies were able to introduce their products to the global buyers working together for ALDI Süd and ALDI Nord, organized by ALDI Hungary. Many companies participated in the tender, and as a result of the thorough selection process, HELL ENERGY received orders from both groups of companies.
