Aldi is expanding the domestic meat offer in its stores in Hungary

Aldi now sells only pork and beef from Hungarian suppliers
The expansion of the domestic supply was praised by the Minister of Agriculture at the event. Nagy István emphasized that he was confident that Aldi’s example would be followed by other store chains, and he hoped that more and more customers would choose a Hungarian product. The future of the Hungarian food industry depends on customer awareness, as meat processing alone provides a livelihood for more than 21,000 employees, he emphasized. (MTI)
