ALDI will raise wages by 12 percent from January
Employees of Aldi Magyarország Élélmiszer Bt. in the fields of sales and logistics, as well as in office positions, will receive a uniform 12 percent wage increase from January 1, the company informed MTI.
In the announcement, it was highlighted that this is the fourth wage increase in 24 months, the total value of which is at least 38 percent, and in some positions even higher.
The January wage increase applies to the company group’s approximately 6,000 employees nationwide, uniformly in almost all positions. After the increase, the starting wage of manual store workers who have just entered the store will rise to HUF 482,400 gross per month with an 8-hour employment relationship, while it will be HUF 500,900 gross after working at Aldi for at least 12 months. The highest available salary in this position is HUF 668,400 gross.
The salary of manual workers working in the logistics area of the Biatorbágy central warehouse starts at HUF 534,300 gross, and the highest allowance available to them is HUF 643,600 gross.
