The Ministry of Agriculture develops a compensation package to help the farmers, due to the frost damages of May. The Ministry's deputy secretary, Feldman Zsolt said that at least 40 percent compensation rate to be achieved.

According to the datas; the size of the frost damaged areas is 41,150 hectares and affects 10,314 producers, the loss of crop yield is not yet possible to be calculated. According to the current datas; in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, 26,184 hectares, in Bács-Kiskun county 4,095 hectares, in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county ​​2,978 hectares were damaged – reports MTI.
