Paying agricultural subsidies will help farmers
Hungarian farmers can expect 122 billion HUF to be paid out over the next three months in connection with their applications last year – Agriculture Minister Nagy István informed MTI.
According to the announcement, the Hungarian Treasury, which manages the subsidies, also wants to contribute to addressing the negative effects of the corona virus by accelerating payments.
Nagy István recalled that up to now, in connection with the 2019 applications, farmers had already received 347 billion HUF legitimate support under the area-based direct payments and the transitional national aid. After completion of the administrative and on-the-spot checks, it was possible to prepare the final payment for each item. (MTI)
