The Ministry of Agriculture is the partner of farmers in the apple issue

The Ministry of Agriculture (AM) wants to be a partner for apple growers to solve the apple market situation, but farmers need to decide how they want to produce in the coming years – the Minister of Agriculture said at a regional agricultural forum in Vásárosnamény, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county.

Nagy István said that one of the great responsibilities of the government would be to raise funds for plantation modernization to increase the proportion of edible apples to at least fifty percent, which is currently 30 percent. (MTI)
