The Chamber of Agriculture supports the nutrient-specific food labeling system
In the European Union, food labeling and nutrition labeling system is changing, the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) supports the nutrient-specific labeling system containing the numerical data proposed by Italy, and will also mobilize the chambers of agriculture of the Visegrad Cooperation member states to adopt it – NAK told MTI.
According to the announcement, Győrffy Balázs, President of the Chamber, and Massimo Rustico, Ambassador of Italy in Budapest met on Monday to discuss the renewal of food labeling, as the planned amendments to the relevant EU regulation can be commented. (MTI)
