The agricultural sector will receive an about 20 percent more EU funding
The Hungarian agricultural sector will receive an about 20 percent more EU fundings in the 2014-202 budgetary period of the European Union – Fazekas Sándor, Minister for Rural Development told in Budapest on Tuesday at a professional forium.
Fazekas Sándor at the third National Rural Development Day called the acquisition of the 1.9 billion euros (more than 500 billion HUF) worth additional fundings as a large agricultural diplomatic success. At the same time the EU’s agricultural budget will be reduced in the 2014-202 budgetary period and there was a scenario that Hungary's agricultural resources from the EU could have been dropped by 30 percent between the 2014-2020 period.
