Thanks to the government’s supportive strategy, the number of local producer markets increased almost one and a half times between 2012 and 2019, from 117 to 298 – hirtv.hu wrotes.

However, the coronavirus has also put this sector in an extremely difficult position. Although, not all markets were closed, the openers were able to operate with a significant drop in turnover. Stakeholders thus had to develop new possibilities and forms of appearance.
