For 24 hours, brains were spinning and fingers were tapping on the keyboard at the hackathon jointly organized by Bosch and CraftHub in Gamerland in Budapest.
A total of 110 teams came up with ideas in order to come up with the best possible solution to the hardware and software challenges and win the jury’s approval and win the cash prize of up to 8,000 euros. However, the appeal of Code #LikeABosch does not only lie in this, since in addition to being a real community-forming and networking experience, it gives young startups the opportunity to invest in their own future with their developments. This year’s grand prize was won by an innovation that represents the new generation of driving support systems: the complex collision avoidance solution makes traffic safer.
This year’s Code #LikeABosch hackathon exceeded all expectations of the organizers, which since its launch in 2021 has grown into a real cult event among young innovators ready to take action. Not only was the atmosphere reminiscent of the hottest summer festivals, but the average age of only 22 and the number of participants on site of 121 people are also a record. The competition was created with the cooperation of CraftHub, a key player in the domestic and regional technology event market, and Bosch, which considers innovation to be one of its core values, in order to give the most talented innovators of the future an opportunity to present themselves.
