The Austrian health ministry has said that some illegally-imported Chinese milkshake containing melamine has been discovered on sale in in a Chinese restaurant.
The
consignment found during a check in a Chinese restaurant in the
southern Austrian state of Styria was traced back to a Chinese shop
in Vienna. The product has now been withdrawn from the shelves.
Austria banned the import of Chinese
milk-based products in 2002, a Health Ministry spokesperson said.
