Economic indicators have improved slightly in Austria
In Austria, economic indicators have improved somewhat due to a cautious opening two weeks ago after a full closure previously ordered due to the coronavirus pandemic – Finance Minister Gernot Blümel announced on Tuesday in a joint speech with Martin Kocher, Minister of Labor, and Margarete Schramböck, Minister of Economy.
“We’re still a long way from last year’s data, but we’re better than we were two weeks ago,” Blümel said. Trade turnover increased by 6 percent, while individual consumption increased by 4.5 percent – the head of the ministry outlined the data. (Kántor Yvette, MTI)
