MOL expands its petrolstation chain in Austria
Hungarian petrol company MOL has signed a deal to acquire 26 gas stations in Austria from Italian fuel retailer ENI in exchange for 10 of its own stations in Romania.
“The transaction is aimed at
optimising the market presence in both countries, and achieving the
development goals of both companies. The implementation of this swap
will create reciprocal advantages for the retail operations of MOL
and ENI in Romania and Austria, respectively,” MOL Romania said in
a statement.
After the change ENI-Group will have
158 petrol station in Austria and 37 in Romania, MOL get 73 station
in Austria and 121 in Romania.
