Hungarian Wine Rally at the end of August for the 17th time
The Hungarian Wine Rally will be held for the seventeenth time this year, between the 24th and 26th of August. Athletes, actors, businessmen, politicians and public figures will take part in the rally.
Regőci Attila chief organizer of the event told at Wednesday's press conference in Budapest, that during the three-day tournament the eighty pairs will drive about 820-840 kilometers.
The route will be Budapest-Tokaj-Eger-Siófok-Budapest, and the participants will visit 19 wineries and three distilleries.
The chief organizer stressed that special attention will be paid to safety again this year, the competitors will be taken breathalyzer tests every day, and can expect strict road checks as well.
