August 20: Street of Hungarian Tastes, Cake of Hungary, Ice cream of the Year and other goodies

The organizers are preparing a two-day program, that will follow the traditions, but will contain a number of new elements – announced the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice about the upcoming national feast.

The first Street of Hungarian Tastes was held in 2010. At this year’s festival even more delicates will await the celebrating crowd and a portion of the revenue will be given for charitable purpose again: to support the Minden Gyerek Lakjon Jól! Foundation. On the Buda bank of the Danube, concerts will accompany the dishes. Of course, there will be fireworks. Having regard to the year of the Olympics the Gyulai István Memorial Athletic Hungarian Grand Prix, will be part of the program, with the participation of Olympic athletes returning from London.
