Auchan: financial transaction tax may reach 300 million HUF

On the basis of the 280 billion HUF turnover of 2011, the financial transaction tax may reach 300 million HUF at the Auchan Magyarország Kft. – said Dominique Ducoux, the company's chief executive at a press conference on Thursday in Budapest.

If Brussels would decide beside the elimination of the crisis tax, the Auchan would be very happy, but it would be also a relief if it would be terminated from the next year. It can be understood that the government introduces a special tax, because of the economic difficulties, but it is confounding that it was introduced in a discriminatory way – he added. (MTI)
