Törley’s champagne master received the gold medal in London

Törley’s champagne master returned home from London with a special award. On 4 September 2013, at the award ceremony of the world's most prestigious wine competition the Decanter World Wine Awards, the Törley Tokaji Doux champagne was given gold medal and the Regional Trophy as well.

Among the more than 1,400 items, less than two hundred received gold medal. It is more honorific the the Törley Pezsgőpincészet received one of the 156 regional awards. The award ceremony was held in London at the Royal Opera House, where the participants could taste the Törley Tokaji champagne during the dinner. At the award ceremony Steven Spuriertől president of the DWWA handed over the award to Koczuba Róbert champagne master of Törley.
