Áts Károly became the Winemaker of the Year in 2012

Áts Károly main winemaker of the Royal Tokaji Borászati Zrt. was chosen by the Hungarian Wine Academy (MBA) as the Winemaker of the Year.

Áts Károly is working at Royal Tokaji since 1994; among the best wineyards he highlighted the Mézes-Mály of Tarcal, the Betsek of Mád, the Birsalmás, Nyulászó and Szent Tamás. They are currently producing fourteen varieties of wine which is exported to more than thirty countries of the world – the winemaker of the year added. (MTI)
