Tourism in Lake Balaton has been reorganized
Tourism in Lake Balaton has been reorganized, while in summer the number of visitors arriving for one day decreased by 7 percent, the number of visitors to Lake Balaton for several days increased by 30 percent according to the National Tourist Information Center and mobile cell data – Juhász Szabolcs, Director of Tourism of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said on Friday.

Lake Balaton weekends are less crowded
He explained that demand reacted in a matter of seconds to higher prices on weekends, and although Lake Balaton was said to be full in the summer, more guests were distributed more proportionately than before, he said. The weekends were less crowded, the area became a bit more livable, he added. (MTI)
