The spicy German sauce is usually used with meats such as Schnitzel. You can meet the pepper-based sauce mainly in restaurants, but you can also buy it in the shops: Knorr, for example, sells the sauces.
Zigeuner Sauce is also commonly called “Paprikaschnitzel” due to its discriminatory crosstalk for some time, and Knorr has now officially renamed the product Hungarian-style paprika sauce. (index)
