The weight of the donations that arrived at the Santa Claus Factory exceeded the dream of 50,000 kilograms
All of this is a better result than expected, said Endre Zsolnai, the organizer of the campaign.
As he said, the charity event mainly collects non-perishable food. The Santa Factory recommends that we look around the kitchen to see which products are close to their expiration date and that we will definitely not consume during the holidays. These are worth donating to a charity campaign. According to their statistics, Hungarian households throw away 65-70 kg of food every year. Some of this could be saved with a little attention. The Santa Factory will be open until December 21, Zsolnai said.
