On average, a scoop of ice cream will cost HUF 500 this summer
Ice cream has become more expensive this year. The Confectionery Industry Council expects a 10-15 percent increase in price compared to last year, primarily due to the rise in energy prices.
A confectioner told RTL Hírado that they expect a drop in traffic, so they cannot sell it even more expensive, so they will hardly make any money on the ice cream.
