Above-average sales growth
Shower gel sales reached HUF 16 billion in 2015, growing by 10 percent from the 2014 level; volume sales were up 8 percent. The share of stores bigger than 2,500m² fell from 40 to 38 percent, while drugstores strengthened their positions by 2 percentage points to 36 percent. Manufacturer brands’ share from value sales increased by 1 percentage point to 89 percent. Market players spent HUF 2.4 billion on television commercials (calculated at rate card price) – just like a year earlier.
