Britain’s largest retailer, Tesco, is redesigning its structure to respond to changing consumer habits – origo wrote after Reuters.
Tesco in the UK, will cut some 4,500 jobs at its 153 Metro stores, ie mid-range stores near busy junctions. The supermarket chain is the largest private sector employer in the island country and wants to improve its efficiency as shoppers tend to go to stores daily and do not make weekly or big purchases.
