The travel magazine awards for the best tourism service providers were presented
The awards for the best tourism service providers in Hungary and beyond the border were presented on Wednesday in Budapest, evaluating their performance in 2023 based on the vote of the travel magazine.
János Árpád Potápi, the State Secretary responsible for national policy at the Prime Minister’s Office, emphasized at the award ceremony that tourism is a strong sector of the national economy, in which there was a breaking point, but it has largely been overcome.
The state secretary believed that the performance of the sector will be exceptionally good this year, which will also affect those who work in travel, provide accommodation or run restaurants.
Tourist service providers operating in Hungary and the Carpathian Basin are also among the awardees – explained János Árpád Potápi, who expressed his joy that they can strengthen national unity from this point of view as well.
Tamás Flesch, the president of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ), said that each awardee excels in something, so it is worth learning from them.
