The IT support of the national hail damage reducing system was handed over on Thursday in the headquarters of the Hungarian National Meteorological Service (OMSZ) in Budapest.
Löwinger Endre, System Operations Manager at the newly handed over supercomputer
Radics Kornélia, the president of the OMSZ, said at the ceremony that for the KlimAdat project, which serves to map the effects of climate change in Hungary, about 709 million forints of state and EU supports can be spent within the Environmental and Energy Efficiency Program (KEHOP) by the end of 2020.
