The Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county Agricolae Kft. has developed its fruit processing system with more than HUF 960 million in Hungarian and EU funding.
At Jánkmajtison, the government commissioner responsible for the maintenance of overhead reductions, Németh Szilárd stated at Jánkmajtison: at Agricolae Kft., you can find everything that the government represents, Hungarian interests, and the utilization of Hungarian science both in everyday life and in production.
He emphasized that the company has a decisive role in the region, as it provides permanent employment to more than a hundred people, and in addition, depending on the season’s labor demand, 20-50 workers from Transcarpathia also come to work for the company.
Agricolae Kft. also implements a program from the farmland to the dining table, since locally grown fruits are also processed locally – added Szilárd Németh.
The government commissioner also said that the company was already prepared in advance for the energy crisis caused by the war and the Brussels sanctions policy, from the energy programs supported by the Hungarian government, since the company uses industrial steam, which is also necessary for disinfection, not with gas, but produced with biomass. And the company produces the building’s electrical energy demand, which is needed for the institution’s lighting, heating and machine operation, with the help of a solar furnace. He added that the company developed technological developments in cooperation with the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), and the packaging machine in the central plant was manufactured in Poland based on a Hungarian patent from Jánkmajtís.
