The National Farmer was awarded

In his welcoming speech at the ceremony, László Kövér, the President of the Parliament, said that in addition to the Actor, Artist and Athlete of the Nation, there is also an award called National Farmer. Actors are usually awarded in theaters that host world-renowned actors, artists in academies, and athletes in sports facilities, so it is appropriate that those deserving of the National Farmer award can be greeted every year at the Parliament House.

He added that in a world burdened with uncertainty and unpredictability, Hungarian farmers can see at least two things clearly.

While the current European Union Commission is continuously weakening and trying to disrupt European agriculture, including Hungarian agriculture, the national government wants to protect and strengthen Hungarian agriculture to the best of its ability.

According to László Kövér, what has happened in the European Union in recent years and is happening today is not a coincidence, nor is it simply the result of wrong professional decisions, but the consequence of conscious policy.

The greatest European plan after the Second World War, the European Union, as a plan for peace, democracy and prosperity, is now becoming a reality of war, dictatorship and impoverishment before our eyes.
