The Great Hungarian Craft Award recognitions were handed over
The Great Hungarian Craft Award recognitions were handed over on Wednesday in Budapest at the 77th National Agricultural and Food Industrial Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK). From the 110 competitors 43 received the prize. Seven of them praised separately based on their high quality.
Varga Mihály Minister of National Economy, the patron of the event emphasized that they jury awarded the real creativity, the work where the traditions live together with the new creations. The artisans perpetuate the traditions, while contributing to economic development. They are able to create new and to put the traditions into the material, producing a marketable product – he added.
