The tourism awards of the Klasszis TopDesign 2022 competition were presented
The tourism awards of the Klasszis TopDesign 2022 competition were presented on Wednesday in Budapest, 24 prizes were awarded in the competition jointly announced by the editorial office of Turizmus Online published by the Klasszis Group and the travel/hotels/gastronomy magazine Pont Itt.
“Klasszis TopDesign 2022 is Hungary’s only international-level hospitality and hotel industry design competition, which addressed those designers and owners and operators of accommodation and catering establishments who stood firm in trying times due to the epidemic and turned to the closure and restrictions time to renovate, beautify and transform their accommodation and catering establishments”
– the organizers informed MTI.
This year, the applications of catering and accommodation establishments where sustainability comes to the fore or operate sustainably were awarded. They pay attention to the procurement of raw materials, for example, to ensure that organically grown vegetables and fruits are presented to the guests, and they procure food products from sustainable farms in the area.
Small and large Hungarian restaurants, coffee houses, bars, bistros, pubs, taverns, pubs, boats, pastry shops, street food places, hotel catering units, wineries, wineries, office catering units, and Hungarian accommodations were eligible to enter the competition. 77 applications were received for the competition.
