The Joint Venture Association corporate awards were presented
The Joint Venture Association (JVSZ), with nearly 40 years of history, held its fourth grand-scale “Companies for the Future Award” Gala Event. On Saturday, February 22, at the impressive Lovarda, with the participation of 300 company executives, JVSZ honored outstanding enterprises in the domestic economy in a total of seven categories.

JVSZ Leadership
JVSZ’s key mission is to support the development of domestic enterprises by sharing the best practices and experiences of its member companies and to widely promote exemplary corporate programs. The awards were granted to companies that achieved outstanding results in the previous year and operated responsibly and consciously while keeping the future of the economy in mind, now in seven categories.
Due to the great success, the range of awards was expanded this year. While in previous years only JVSZ member companies could apply for special awards, this year, two special awards were opened to a broader range of companies. The goal is to recognize and showcase as many exemplary best practices as possible, inspiring other businesses.

Dr. Ágnes Fábián, President of JVSZ
Dr. Ágnes Fábián, President of JVSZ, proudly spoke at the event about the development of the association’s “Companies for the Future Award” initiative. Launched four years ago by the JVSZ leadership with the goal of establishing a tradition, the initiative aims to showcase future-oriented, forward-thinking companies and exemplary programs that contribute to the growth and development of the domestic economic sector.
“The value-creating power of the association is demonstrated by the increasing prestige of our awards over the years. Today, we celebrate the most outstanding enterprises and forward-thinking programs of the domestic economy with more than 300 participants.”
For the main awards, companies were ranked based on criteria developed by OPTEN, while special awards were open to applications. In each category, a highly prestigious professional jury, selected specifically for the evaluation of that award, determined the winners.
For the third consecutive year, the Ministry of National Economy has supported the initiative, with Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy, the event’s chief patron, presenting prestigious awards to exemplary large and medium-sized enterprises that have a positive impact on our future.

Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy
Márton Nagy, Minister of National Economy, stated in his speech at the event that economic policy’s main pillars will expand from the current three to six elements. Alongside wage convergence based on growth, affordable housing, and SME scaling, the focus in 2025 will also include tax reduction, the establishment of 100 new factories, and combating inflation. This will be the year of breakthroughs, with further reductions in labor taxes, expanded tax exemptions for mothers, VAT refunds for retirees, and increased wages and job creation. This can only be achieved through collaboration, as progress cannot happen without cooperation between economic actors and key organizations such as JVSZ.

Both the Ministry of National Economy and the Joint Venture Association consider dialogue, fostering partnerships between businesses and the government, strengthening the economic power and competitiveness of companies operating in Hungary, supporting corporate digitalization, promoting green and sustainable operations, assisting generational transitions, and broad knowledge-sharing among large, medium, and small enterprises as key values.
The main awards were presented by Márton Nagy, Minister of National Economy, while the special awards were handed over by the executives of sponsoring companies: Dr. Ágnes Fábián, Managing Director of Henkel Hungary, Zsolt Jamniczky, CEO of E.ON Hungária Group, Dr. Péter Tálos, Vice President of the Foxconn Group, Katalin Kiss, Managing Director of MAM-Hungária Kft., and Anikó Marsi, a prominent host at TV2 Media Group.
JVSZ considers all three podium-winning companies in each category as winners, as the complexity of the evaluation criteria means that second and third place are also major achievements.
