FrieslandCampina’s new dessert plant was handed over in Mátészalka
The new dessert plant of the Dutch-owned FrieslandCampina Hungária Zrt. was handed over on Wednesday, in Mátészalka Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. The investment cost 650 million HUF.
At the ceremony, Zsigó Róbert, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for for Food Chain surveillance told that to make the Hungarian food industry competitive again is a priority for the government. The Hungarian food industry should be the competitive dynamic sector of the country, but this requires technological and product restructuring to meet the 21st century standards. (MTI)
