Professional awards from the civil sector were handed over
An innovative workshop in a disadvantaged region, a community partnership for the Roman coast and an online bidding group of nearly 100,000 people for good cause – these are just three examples of the Civil Award 2020 winners. The NIOK Foundation awarded the Civil Awards for the fifth time this year, and the most successful initiatives of 2019 were awarded in nine categories at the awards ceremony held in the open air, on Hunyadi Square in Budapest.
Nearly 100 entries were submitted to the Civil Award jury this year, of which a total of 27 made it to the finals. Among them were nine organizations from the capital and the countryside who were able to take home the award for best communication campaign, most successful fundraiser, or just best social enterprise.
