The awards of the Brillante-2024 International Distilled Competition were presented at the Gyula Pálinka Festival
The prizes of the Brillante-2024 International Pálinka and Párlat Competition were presented at the Gyula Pálinka Festival – the organizers informed MTI.
The most successful rental brewery in 2024 was the Kövér Pálinka Brewery in Noszvaj. The title of the most successful contract brewer for the third year in a row
Krisztián Guba wins; became the most successful private brewer in Leipzig Adrián.
The best privately brewed distillate was Dervanics’ Roland Tophit plum distillate; and Gábor Szász’s red Vilmos distillate earned the title of the best contract-distilled distillate.
This year the fruit of the year was the quince, the juice made from it was awarded separately, the distillate of Donát Szolnok won the category.
The most successful commercial brewery this year was Várda Drink Zrt. from Kisvárda; and the title of the best commercial pálinka was won by the yellow wilmospear pálinka from the Sápusztai Pálinkafőzde based on the decision of the professional jury. Last year, the red Vilmoskörte pálinka of the same brew took first place.
The winner of the best commercial pálinka award also won the special award of the Ministry of Agriculture, since the main patron of the competition was the Ministry of Agriculture in 2024 – the organizers informed MTI.
