This year’s CO-OP Star Silver Pine and Silver Star awards have been presented
As every year before Christmas, this December, the CO-OP Star Silver Fir celebration was held, where the company’s board of directors honored employees with outstanding performance and two external partners were also recognized and awarded during the event.
The Silver Star award, established by the CO-OP Star board of directors, is granted in recognition of high-level professional activities aimed at achieving the company’s integration, commitment to integration, and efforts to expand the company. In 2024, Zsuzsanna Hermann, Managing Editor-in-Chief of Trade Magazine, and Viktor Imre, owner and CEO of Szilasfood, were ceremoniously presented with these awards for external partners.
Traditionally, this event serves as a forum for the company’s employees, where the annual evaluation not only summarizes the company’s achievements, successes, and market challenges but also highlights colleagues whose outstanding performance and efforts beyond expectations support the company’s operations and pave the way for its success. This year, nearly 100 out of approximately 1,200 employees received certificates of recognition. Among them, three colleagues: Hajnalka Gulyásné Ervert, store manager; Rozália Pető, store manager; and Judit Polgár, accounting manager, were honored with the Silver Fir award. The Silver Fir award, established by the CO-OP Star board of directors, is annually presented to three employees in recognition of their high-level professional work over several years, commitment and loyalty to the company, contributions to enhancing the company’s reputation, and community-building behavior.
The awards were presented by Dr. István Rédei, CEO, and János Mezei, Commercial Director of CO-OP Star, headquartered in Jászberény, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. Dr. Zoltán Zs. Szőke, President of the ÁFEOSZ-COOP Federation, also attended the event and congratulated the awardees.
