ÁSZ: customer awareness needs to be strengthened due to the spread of e-commerce
The share of e-commerce in Hungary has grown dynamically in the last decade. There have been a number of technological developments affecting e-commerce and the cash flow that supports it, but regulations have not kept pace with developments in all respects.
Therefore, in its latest analysis, the State Audit Office (ÁSZ) draws attention to the need to strengthen consumer awareness in order to make responsible decisions that ensure that people’s data is adequately protected when shopping online. (MTI)
