ÁSZ: In a modern economy, the use of digital technologies is the key to competitiveness
It was recalled that the European Commission launched its initiative for the digitization of European industry in 2016, joining which Hungary created strategies to support the technological development and digitization of industry. Domestic strategies have set the goal of increasing R&D expenditure as a share of GDP to 1.8 percent by 2020 and to 3 percent by 2030. However, the analysis of ÁSZ shows that these goals did not determine the results to be achieved, but the amount of resources to be used to achieve the results. (MTI)
