Hungary is on the podium in terms of Mineral Water in Europe

In Hungary, 159 certified mineral water brands can be found. More mineral water brands in Europe can be found only in Germany and in Italy – Pet-Pack Ipari és Kereskedelmi Kft. informs MTI in its communication.

The Pet-Pack Kft. has announced that in the first nine months of the year, a total of 927 million liters of mineral water was bottled by the domestic manufacturers.

According to the datas of the Hungarian Mineral Water Association and Product Council (MÁSZT), in the third quarter of 2012, 365.9 million liters of bottled mineral waters were marketed in Hungary. 53.5 percent of this – about 195 million liters – was carbonated, 8,3 percent lightly carbonated and 38.2 percent was non-carbonated mineral water.
