Solution to curb product loss
French company Groupement Les Mousquetaires, which represents brands such as Intermarché, Netto and Bricomarché, is introducing an AI-based solution to fight fraud at self-checkouts.

Following the successful trial of Diebold Nixdorf’s Vynamic® Smart Vision I Shrink Reduction technology, the retailer is now getting ready to introduce it in the group’s stores. The new system analyses customer behaviour in real time and detects if an item hasn’t been scanned, if products are stacked or if a shoppers leaves without paying.
