Korean Air launched a cargo flight between Budapest and Seoul
Korean Air launched a a freight service between Budapest and Seoul, and the South Korean airline’s Boeing 777 operates twice a week on Friday and Sunday. The first flight carried 40 tons of goods.
Magyar Levente, Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a ceremony that last year was a special year for relations between Hungary and South Korea.
At that time, the two countries celebrated the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and South Korea became the largest country investing in Hungary, with projects worth 2.5 billion euros, almost half of the total investment. Trade grew by a third from a year earlier, he said. (MTI)
