Collation between the Ministry of Rural Development and the chain of stores on the milk industry's problems
The Ministry of Rural Development (VM) collated with chain of stores in Budapest on Tuesday to find a solution to the emerging dairy market crisis – said Budai Gyula, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry at the press conference after the meeting.
According to Budai Gyula, an important part of the strategy, is to declare the discriminatory pricing as unfair distribution behavior, to consult with the supermarket chains and to launch a campaign for the consumption of the Hungarian dairy products. Another goals; to increase the quantity of milk in the school milk program, advance payments to dairy farmers in crisis, and to start food control campaigns. (MTI)
