Chain of stores are promoting the Hajdúsági horseradish before Easter
Three major supermarket chains are promoting the Hajdúsági horseradish before Easter, on 11 and 12 April in the organization of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation (FruitVeB) in order to encourage the domestic consumption of horseradish .
According to the release of Fruitveb, the customers can meet the campaign in the stores of Tesco, SPAR and CBA.
Horseradish was produced on 1,300 hectares in Hungary last year. With an 8 tonnes per hectare average yield, the national yield was around 11 thousand tonnes. (MTI)
