According to Forbes; Counterfeiting of goods is among the world's seven most profitable illegal industries. It is estimated that 5-7 percent of total international trade expose by fakes.
Drug business, cargo theft, cigarettes and oil smuggling, human trade, art treasure theft and counterfeiting are the world's seven most profitable illegal industries, generating hundreds of billions USD profits to stakeholders annually. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) estimates, that the international trade of counterfeit and pirated products exceeded 250 billion USD in 2009, which was 2 percent of the world's total trade turnover – reports penzcentrum.hu.
