Laurel Retail 2011: The state is not considerate of the sector
The point of view of the state and retailers could not fall further from each other, which was more than visible at Siofók-based Laurel Retail 2011 conference. The main conclusion of the forum was that the sector needs too prepare for a long, at least three year-long crisis-situation, whereas state decisions are not commensurate with the neeeds of the sector.
EXtra tax, chipstax, 27 percent VAT, shopping mall-stop, the increase of minimum wage, innovation tax… these are all serious threats to the sector – László Krisán, CEO of Kavosz Ltd. pointed out.
