K&H makes a voluntary commitment to limit premiums for home insurance
In accordance with the request of the Ministry of National Economy, K&H Insurance joins the voluntary commitment of home insurers, the aim of which is to exempt customers with home insurance from the 12-month inflation affecting the insurance premium, while the insured amount increases.
The Insurer undertakes that:
In the case of new home insurance contracts concluded between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 and with a risk coverage beginning in this period, the premium level of the contracts will not exceed the premium level of December 31, 2024 in the first year of the contract, provided the conditions remain unchanged.
In the case of home insurance contracts concluded and in force before 1 July 2025, the premium change resulting from the automatic value tracking of the insured amounts according to the contract terms and conditions will not be enforced for a period of 1 year from the insurance anniversaries between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. This restriction does not apply to premium changes related to other modifications initiated by the customers.
The above premium restriction is undertaken by the insurer in the case of a consumer price index not exceeding 6% for the 12-month period last published by the Central Statistical Office prior to the application of value tracking. The voluntary premium restriction complies with the request of the Ministry of National Economy. Customers do not have to do anything to enforce the premium restriction, as it is ensured automatically by K&H.
